OUR MISSION

Redefinition of higher education through provision of training that emphasizes competency of products and provisions of post graduation support services that enable ease of academic and career development. Provision of an all embracing polytechnic education contributing meaningfully to solving unemployment and underemployment problems, enduringly.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Improvement of accessibility to technological and managerial Competency Based Education (CBE).

Encouragement of creativity and innovation in order to expose and develop talented individuals.

To ensure that all graduates of LISCOTECH are gainfully employed at the end of course through the following support services:

• Networking with LISCOTECH established Employers Forum to provide job placements for our graduates.

• Collaboration with funding sources (donors, commercial and microfinance banks e.t.c) to source seed fund to procure equipment and tools and provide other logistics to establish own businesses of graduates of LISCITECH.

Provision of a citadel of learning where curriculum of courses and learning environment enable graduates to comfortably acquire adequate professional certificates, in addition to their academic qualifications, suitable for gainful employment and career development.

Linkages with other institutions and professional bodies in Nigeria and abroad to enable LISCOTECH students and graduates maximize opportunities for career development.

Provision of further training for technicians and technologists and other stake holders in order to meet the challenges of changing technology and market needs.

Collaboration with tiers of government, development agencies and other stake holders to package and implement customized skills training and business development support services aimed at solving unemployment and underemployment problems.

Provision of short-term training programmes on technical and managerial courses for on- the- job training and career development of government and private employees.

Provision of other training programmes services based on outcome of needs assessment aimed at solving manpower and industrial development problems and other societal needs.

Conduction of research on scientific, technological, managerial and other areas for good of mankind.
