ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

Objectives of Empowerment Programme

-Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Job Creation Schemes

- Widening of access to marketable skills for the youths, women and adults.

- Solving problem of underemployment through provision of skills/competencies that enable income generation or increase in income of participants.

- Provision of entrepreneurial training for traders/business men and women.

- Updating knowledge of artisans and technicians.

- Cottage industries development.

Duration of Course:

Four (4) weeks to six (6) months
Depending on the course and whether it is full time/part time (evenings during the week or week-ends)
