NATIONAL DIPLOMA
Duration
Four semesters or two academic sessions.
Entry Qualification
A Credit pass in English Language and Mathematics plus
any other three relevant subjects. Lower qualification will be considered for experienced
and matured candidates.
Pre-National Diploma
Duration
Two semesters or one academic session
Entry Qualification
A Credit pass in English Language and Mathematics plus
any other three relevant subjects. Lower qualification will be considered for experienced
and matured candidates.
However, candidates who have credits in core courses but have
deficiency in additional courses to make up the credits requirement
may be admitted for preliminary programme.
NATIONAL VOCATIONAL CERTIFICATE (NVC)
Duration
Stage (1 year) Stage II (1 year) Stage III (1 year)
Entry Qualification
National Diploma holders can start NVC couses at stage II. Higher certificate
holders starting at stage II have exemption for courses.
These are professional courses in the following stages: Stage I, Stage II, Stage III
Each stage is terminal and certifified at the end of course
Recongnized for admission and career advancement. Structured and approved by
National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Minimum of 3 Credit plus 2 passes in WASCE, NECO, GCE ‘O’ Level or its
equivalent. Lower qualification may be considered for matured/experienced
candidates.
PART TIME
Duration
National Diploma
Six semesters or three academic sessions.
National Vocational Certificate (NVC)
Five modules of six months
Entry Qualification
Same as applied in Full Time
General Studies
It is mandatory for all students of National Diploma to take prescribed
General Studies courses in Mathematics, Communication Skills,
Entrepreneurship, Computer Appreciation and Citizenship Education. |
